I’m Ray aka the Twisted Mad Hatter, artist and owner of Twisted Mad Hatter Tattoo in Etters, PA. Art has always been a big part of my life—starting with photography and a dream I shared in high school with my best friend, Jamie, to one day become tattoo artists. Life, of course, took some turns, and I found myself caught up in the 9-to-5 grind.

After facing serious medical challenges, including a stroke that changed my life forever, I knew it was time to follow the path I was truly meant for. That’s when tattooing became more than just an interest—it became my purpose. For me, it’s not just about putting ink on skin; it’s about creating something meaningful, personal, and one-of-a-kind for every person who sits in my chair.

My style leans toward the dark, surreal, and imaginative, pulling inspiration from Alice in Wonderland, comic art, horror, and fantasy worlds. I love transforming creative ideas into custom designs that tell a story—whether it’s a bold statement piece, something symbolic, or a detailed black and grey tattoo.
